Tributes to Painters

This is a series of shrines.  Each work honors an individual painter.  Antique frames are attached to a shelf; the sides, back and top are constructed to create a stage house.  Within this theatrical setting, found images and objects for which a specific artist is known are placed.  Quotations from the artist are also incorporated into the design.  Materials include wood, metal, plastic, paper, paint, glass, fiber, crafted objects and found objects.  

A separate series is comprised of spirit rooms/environments once occupied by people who migrated to other places or worlds.
